Last month there was the news that researchers form the Parc Natural del Montseny (a biosphere reserve located som 50 km north of Barcelona) had been distinguished by the UNESCO for their methodology in setting up the list of cultural heritage contained in the area. In fact, a huge effort has been made to list everything and anythign from this cultural landscape. But the best of it all is the way this has been done, according to UNESCO officials, for a new methodology for this kind of work has been proposed and it seems a very good one. Here you can read the news of this outstanding cultural and methodological effort. Or, for a change, you can watch this video to deepen a bit more into the subject.

Cultural landscapes are becoming a central topic in the tourism discourse everywhere, hence congratulations to the researchers for their good job, which now can be transferred to other areas.
